ASUSTOR releases ADM 4.0.6.RIS1 update



ASUSTOR just outed a new update for ADM and it’s available for a select few enclosures, namely those part of the AS10, AS50, AS51, and AS70 series of ASUSTOR NAS. In this piece, we’ll be going through everything included in ADM 4.0.6.RIS1 and how to go about installing it on your NAS.

This update is only available for ASUSTOR AS10, 50, 51, 70 series NAS.

How to install this update

ASUSTOR ensures the process for updating an enclosure’s ADM OS is painless. We’ve compiled a short list of steps you can take to update the NAS, as well as set up automated update notifications. Here’s how to do it for this latest release on the best NAS:

  1. Back up all the data stored on your ASUSTOR NAS.
  2. Go to Settings > ADM Update.
  3. Make sure Enable update notifications is checked if you want to receive notifications when you log onto the NAS.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the update process.

You can also click on “Manual Update” to upload an OS update package downloaded from the ASUSTOR website.
